The International Conference of Processes Modelling and Experimental Engineering concluded in Rytro. The event was organized by the Department of Foundry Process Engineering at the Faculty of Foundry Engineering, AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, the University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, and the Foundry Institute University of Technology in Freiberg (Gießerei-Institut der Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg) in Germany.
During the conference, various topics were addressed, including numerical simulations of technological processes, mathematical modelling of processes, production and recycling of specific products, quality engineering of production and services, analytical research methods, and numerical calculations for describing technological phenomena. The conference also featured presentations on corrosion studies, tool programming, robotics, virtual reality, machine learning, subtractive and additive machining, vibroacoustics in production lines, fatigue strength, PVD and CVD coatings.
Professor Witold Krajewski received congratulations and thanks for his 50 years of scientific, research, and teaching work from the authorities of AGH, the Department of Foundry Process Engineering, colleagues, and also from the rector of the State Higher Vocational School, Professor Mariusz Cygnar.
The event emphasized the importance of collaboration between academic institutions, showcased achievements, and set the stage for future conferences. Prorector Rafał Dańko expressed the hope that such meetings on ICPMEE, would become a regular forum for the exchange of experiences and achievements in academic centres. The conference also highlighted the significance of collaboration between academia and industry for the development of modern economies.
The conference was attended by distinguished participants, including academic leaders, researchers, and industry representatives from Poland, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. Among the conference participants were, among others:
